I love lime-sec but the price is a bit prohibitive in the uk. So iuse witch hazel 200ml, boots chemist mens aftershave 100ml and 15-20 drops of lime essential oil. Smells great but no longevity (2 maybe 3 hours)

One of the best discoveries so far was thanks to Ed Hewitt.
The unscented Witch Hazel he sent me is now a firm favourite, not just because I suffer from razor burn !!

    Thanks Ed

Looks great in those bottles man, and as for witch hazel I'm never without a bottle or two. Reminds me of our school nurse who was a lovley lady and at the sight of a grazed knee out would come the witch hazel "now this might sting a bit sweetheart" arrgggh...

If you love both Pinaud AS and Witch hazel, you REALLY need to try Myrsol. It's a Spanish aftershave that has great scents but has healing properties like Witch hazel. It's the best stuff! The only issue is that you can't buy it in Aus and need to buy from overseas.

(Oh, and the bottles are 1940's amazing!)

Is there a reason no one seems to retail pinaud in Australia? It's near the most talked about product on here and do you think anyone will sell some?

This is the closest I've found? PINAUD CLUBMAN AFTER SHAVE 370ML - Turnleys - Turnleys

Turnleys in Sydney (Granville and City) and Melbourne stock some, not all, of the Pinaud range.

Barber & Hairdressing Supply (in Belmore, Sydney) also stocks some Pinauds (like Virgin Islands Bay Rum) and their own versions.

So it depends where you live...

It's often discussed as it's cheap and widely available... In the States. It's like a multi-flavoured version of US Brut.
