I wonder if this is still offered?
A friend sent me this...

Anyone on here know that this course existed in Aus? I know in WA straight razors are banned in Salons (they have to use disposable blades), so maybe this course is only over a East where people still learn this trade?
Hope this finds you all well!

No real straights allowed Eastside either James.
No idea if they still offer the course . Would be almost redundant now I guess. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

That's only a 2012 document, so it could be possible.
There is a barber in Sydney that the bride saw a couple weeks back that give straight shaves and there is a franchise "Kazza's barbers" I think it was in Qld they opened a shop in Rockhampton about and hour odd from here that I want to try next time up there,
but not sure if either uses straights or shavette's
Also there is a barber in the Gold Coast that does wet shave's also don't know what they use yetSaved,
to shave another day.

I know here the therapeutic guidelines advise against using straight razors but they aren't banned.
I'm going to need a bigger bathroom

I saw one as part of a course in Melbourne, called up the tafe and they said it was part of a hairdresser course and I had to do the whole course to do that elective.
What the????
Then I discovered OZ, that made life a bit simpler.A good lather is half the shave.
