Thread: Brisbane Meetup Saturday 10th January

Hi All,

I am hosting a meetup at my place in West End Saturday 10th January. Some are already aware of this meetup, but it is an open invitation to any able to come.

Regarding time, I am inviting people to arrive from 10.30 with the hope that all attending will arrive by 1 or so as an official start time... Arrive after lunch if you wish, or if you're kicking around with no commitments you are welcome anytime after 10.30 and we can have lunch delivered here also.

PM me for address is you don't already have it. And if you have any wood that you want to put through a band saw/ scroll saw, bench sander or small lathe, bring it along also.

For anyone using power tools or anything with a possibility of injury, this invite is obviously extended in goodwill with the expectation people will take responsibility for their own actions and safety and participate at their own risk.

I will supply snacks, non-alcoholic drinks inc tea and coffee. Just bring yourself and any razors, hones, strops etc that you wish. You are welcome to bring alcoholic drinks if you wish (I'll probably have a beer or 2), or additional snacks - although I am sure I will be able to cater for a basic spread for all.

Will be great to see you all again, plus meet a couple of newer members - Greg from the Brisbane area plus Micke from Sweden.
