Wahl Straight Razor
Had a flick through the ShaverShop catalogue this morning, and almost fell off my chair (well not really, I was standing).
Besides the Dovos and other big brand straights they stock, the hair product manufacturer Wahl has stepped up to the plate

The ad does not use the terminology that this forum uses.

Thanked: 580Saw that too, doesn't look like a gold dollar, different grind. At $50 I wouldn't hold my breath, but being a reputable company at least you should be able to send it back if it fails to take an edge. The NZ site is advertising Lamberts luscious straight razor for $200, made here. Will try and find out more about it.

Yeah I wouldn't hold mine either, but it's the cheapest new straight i've seen in this country.

It doesn't look like there is any Wahl branding on the razor. Wahl has a pretty good reputation for making pro quality electric clippers. I'd be surprised if they knew about their brand being used to sell dodgy straights.
