Thanked: 580Gillette DE blades made in Australia?
After reading rave reviews about Gillette platinum plus blades and how long they last, 10+ shaves, a bunch of them popped up locally with a bargain buy now.
Shock horror, they have "Made in Australia" printed on the blade.
The jury is still out with only a couple of shaves in on one, but if they last more than 5 shaves, they should say "Made in Australia by a Kiwi"...Yeah Nah?Into this house we're born, into this world we're thrown ~ Jim Morrison

Thanked: 3224Must have been in the good old days when companies, because of high import tariffs/duties, built factories in different countries to supply that market. Globalization has ended that and Gillette, I believe, has all it's various brands of DE blades made in one factory in St Petersburg Russia now.
