Thanked: 3223The things extreme temps can do. Yesterday morning there as only a trickle of water coming out of the tap when I went to shave at 0500. Checked the basement and no flooding there. Looked out the front window and the problem became obvious as there was water on the street a few doors down, water main burst.
It is now 2040 and we have our water back but with a boil water advisory in effect. I feel sorry for the city crew that worked 2 days to repair the break in > -20C temps. They earned every penny of their pay.
