    Default Happy new year

Happy new year to all the gentlemen down under.
Taking a break and spending time with friends and family.
The fires in Oz look pretty serious, hope you are all OK.
The smoke is reaching here, hazy days. First time I've seen that.
Pretty dry here too, hopefully we all get a bit of rain soon.

Hi Graeme, I'm sure you guys will get rain long before we do. Even here on the "wet" sub-tropical coast of SE Qld we're a bit short of it. In days gone by it would rain for most of January! Didn't do much for tourism but it made the sugar cane and pineapples grow We wish it would come back.

All the best from the other side of the ditch for 2020

Hey Mike, we are cracking 30 degrees here and I'm ducking for cover.
My uncle is a roofer in Perth, 5 days in a row above 40 degrees there.
    Bugger that...

Happy New Year to all those down under. Been watching the news on the fires in OZ and can't imagine how hard it has been. Hope the new year bring some relief with rain and lots of it.

    Praying for rain.

Ed Hewitt told me once it was 50c in Perth. That is 125f.

Happy New year's guys. Don't know about 50 but been cracking 40 more thin I'd like. Working out in the shed is like a sauna on those arvos. Ed was working up north in the mines and definitely gets to 50 up there. Been a lot of bush fires over here to but luckily not as bad as over there. Hope it gets better over there and all stay safe.
