    Default Restoration Supplies in Australia

Caveat: I have not dealt personally witl ALL the listed companies/sites. However where I have I will provide my impressions.

    House of Jewellery
site is clunky with no pricing, you'll need to speak to them directly, but once you do their service is outstanding and their prices are VERY compeditive.
Products of interst: abrasives, cutting, grinding and polishing wheels for your Dremel. Tools and polishes.

    Shell-Lap Supplies
Excellent source of fine abrasives in bulk

    Woodshop
Generally supply LARGE items but will happily sell you off-cuts and they will do mail order. I recommend calling them to see what they may have available. Often have some unusual woods.

    Djarilmari Timber Products Australia
Can be hard to deal with at times (prefer to deal in large ammounts) but they DO have the best range od Austrlaian Desert Hardwoods available.

    Gondwana Forest Products
You want it they got it! (a little on the expensive side though)

    Trend Timbers
Havent used them but reputed to be OK

Tasmanian Salvaged Resurrection Timbers Pty Ltd
Spectacular range, but only in bigger sizes (you'll need to cut to size) and organise your own shipping through their "agent".

    Hobby Co
Yeah... They're expensive but they seem to be the sole suppliers for some items...

    Adelaide Moulding and Casting Supplies
Best price I've found for the 4oz bottles of ZAP line of superglue

If anyone has any more to add please post thyem and I'll update the list.

    Cheers

    Default the resurection...

Found a supplier of exotic timbers on Northern Rivers
    The Timber Slab Factory

Stupidly wide range of timbers but mostly in larger sizes (saw a 180x180x3600 purple heart beam! )
