Oz-Tex Bush Uberlather
This morning I made a more or less accidental discovery
that you might be interested in, because it involves an
Australian-made shaving product.
I was whipping up some lather in a bowl, using Van Der
Hagen glycerine soap, made in Texas. The lather was a
bit thin, but instead of adding more VDH soap, I put a
very small amount (about 1cm) of made-in-Queensland
Faulding Shave Cream in the bowl.
The mixture came alive! Lots of thick, rich, aromatic
lather. Good stuff!
BTW, that was with cold water, too.
Thanks for the Faulding's, MickR !
Cheers,

The only problem I find with fauldings is that it leaves a lot of soap residue. There a couple of razors I didnt wash properly and they are now a steely white :-)

Thanked: 983Sounds alright I reckon. Thanks Paul. I might have to send you a couple more Australian shave creams to experiment with, you keep this up.
But seriously now, let me know when you're running low and I'll send you out some 'Gaia' shave cream which will appease the nature child within you, as it's an all natural, organic product, and quite good. And if you haven't already tried it, the Palmolive shave cream, I believe is also an Aussie product. I would have to check into that one though.
