Thread: Mineral Oil

I dont know if this is common knowledge or not, maybe I'm just a bit slow.
We hear about the use of mineral oil all the time here regarding oiling blades etc from the guys in the USA. I normally keep my eyes out for it if I'm in a chemist but I've never found it yet. However I read a post today from member macrob over in Ireland who mentioned that mineral oil is called liquid paraffin over in the U.K. So I went out today and there it is $3.10 in Coles. It seems good too, thicker than the sewing machine oil I have been using and doesnt beed up at all.
