    it's been a very long time since i read a horse book same with riding and have forgotten most of what little i knew can you remind me on the differences between the morgans and quarter horse hight temperment confirmation etc that sort of thing it would be nice to know again

    From looking at the map it seems I drove through Tullah in 2007 on our way to Strahan - it left no impression. As Joan said it looks like Mr Tensen sold patent medicines and his own anti-dandruff preparation. Occurrences of his name peak sharply in 1909 so it's probably safe to date the razor to that time.

    Both Joan and I have found this using TROVE from the National Library of Australia

    Yes, Trove (newspaper research) can be a little tricky at times but if you keep searching the more obtrusive places and people will show if they've ever been reported on or even advertised. I love matching the history of razors to the actual times and people involved if I can - its what got me caught up in collecting razors some years ago now.
