    Default Canberra Restoration

    Hiya,
I'm bidding on a Bengall razor for my boyfriend for Christmas and want to have the blade polished and honed before I give it to him. Does anyone know where I can get this done in canberra and if not, how about Adelaide?
    Thanks!

If you're bidding on eBay can you show us a link.? Unless you know what you're buying it can be difficult to pick a good 'un There are often less than stellar buys on the Bay & it maybe safer & cheaper in the long run to buy a shave ready razor from the classifieds here:

ive had a razor hone by oz (onimaro55), almost 4 months now and still as sharp as when it was newly honed. oz also does some great restoration work too, there should be some pics on the forum somewhere.

Hi. I might have checked into this one a little late to be of much help.

I am to-ing and fro-ing between here and Melbourne all this week for work and family stuff so sadly I don't think I can help out in time for Christmas.

Did you end up getting the razor? I'm sure we would all still be curious to see what it looks like if you have not won it yet. You do have to be careful buying vintage razors off ebay. There is a lot that can be wrong with them that will make them difficult, if not impossible to restore. At least for a price that would make it worthwhile. It is a bit of a minefield for the unwary.

But good luck with it. I'm sure your boyfriend will appreciate the thoughtful gift.
