Recommendations for professional honing in Aus.?
I have a Blue Wonder 7/8" with a small chip in the blade (for more info, see http://straightrazorpalace.com/works...der-7-8-a.html), which I would like to get repaired.
Besides being a nice razor, it also has sentimental value to me because it is a family heirloom. Therefore, I would like to find someone suitably experienced to repair it.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

Many guys can do the work, but with it being a family piece, having a pro do it makes alot of sense. Best of luck. I suspect you'll be glad you gave it that care.

Talk to Legion or onimaru55. I know Oz lives on the North Shore in Sydney, not sure about Legion (David). Either of these guys would be great. Have a talk to both and pick the one you feel most comfortable with. They are both good guys and are easy to talk too and very helpfull if you have any questions.

Thanked: 983Yer welcome mate. You won't regret your decision. His skill is almost magical...Or perhaps he just has some kind of miracle strop that does all the magical stuff to his finished edges...Who knows...
