Howzat
Gents,
not a bad yarn, interesting to ge a look at what may have gone on from the inside. I was 16 at the time, not much interested in cricket, but do remember the old folks talking about the changes. Hard to imagine world class sportsmen not making a living wage from their sport. How things have changed

Thanked: 983Gordon,
Sorry for the confusion mate. I don't actually watch a great deal of television. The news, Mrs Browns boys and a movie if there's one to be had, are about it for me. I vaguely recall seeing an ad for the series 'Howzat' now.

Thanked: 3I very rarely watch Ch 9 or free-to-air television at all, but have to say I made a point of tuning into this one & found it a good story.
Would be interested to see if some of the people involved confirm the actual likeness to KP from the inside Heelrau.

I only found cricket interesting when they had one day matches
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
