After staring at this picture, I got up and started digging in the refrigerator. This afternoon I was at Bass Pro Shops hanging out, looking at knives.
Mick, I think you might be a bad influence on me.

Thanked: 983Ah mate there ain't nothin' like a nice steak and some poached eggs on sour dough bread for breakfast. You could skip every other meal in the day with a start like that. Happy fathers day to you my friend! Is it fathers day for you? I think you celebrate it at a different time of the year, but I'm not sure. Have a good day regardless anyway.

Thanked: 3Re: Happy Daddies Day Down Under
Hope you all have a sensational Fathers Day.
I spent last weekend with mum & dad as they were up in QLD visiting for my daughters birthday. Always love having them around.

Off to tend to the roast on the BBQ. Enjoy your day Dads.

Thanked: 485Happy Father's day everyone! I got a strange looking 'E Weck & Son' 'Sextoblade' (seriously, that's what it's called) razor from my younger son. There's photos of it on the razor thread. Not something I'd normally buy. Spent the morning honing my new Swedish frameback (Jernbolaget), and I haven't tested it yet, but it seems I may just have honed it! Quite chuffed with that, more on that later in the honing section; I think...
This is my father during WWII. When I came here from Mother England at two years' of age, the 'multi cultural' aspect of Australia was a little less diverse I think than now. I wasn't born here, I still call Australia home...
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

I had a great one - firstly, my youngest and oldest sons called me and, secondly, I spent time with my Dad who is 87.
Great day all round reallyHang on and enjoy the ride...

Happy Father's Day to our members of the Southern Cross.

Thanked: 1072Happy Father's day to all the Dads out there.
I happen to be down in Sydney with the wife and kids and so was able to have lunch with my Father in Law (who is a really cool guy) followed by dinner with my folks and 2 brothers.
Hope you all had a good one too.
