Question We Value Your Opinion: Fairdinkum Local Genuine Australian Made

Would you guys mind answering a couple of questions for me please?

Kangaroo strops, what is your opinion regarding quality, function, and durability?

Where can I get hold of an Australian made (from local 'ingredients') horsehair shaving brush?

Quality and functionality of kangaroo strops is first rate. I love mine. I can't really comment on durability as I've only had it about a year and I use it mainly as a travel strop but there's no reason why it won't last as long as others.
Sorry, can't help you on an Australian horse hair brush. I've got a Vie Long hores hair brush but I believe they are made in Spain.

Kangaroo is durable & works well. Review - Kangaroo Leather

Don't know of any horse hair brushes down here.

Brilliant about the roo strop, where did you source yours from?
Do you get a good level of exfoliation with the horse hair?

Cheers for the literature Onimaru. It looked very well researched.

Wulf, I can vouch for the longevity of a 'roo strop for the last few years. Mines still going strong. My source for my 'roo hide strop was me. johnmrson got his from Legion I believe. I stand to be corrected there if needs be.
