Just thought I might check to see if I was bidding against one of the members here. This is what it is...Blue Wonder cut throat | eBay

If one of ours is going for it, I've placed my last bid, and I will place no more if you want it. If no one owns up, of course, then I will carry on.

Thanks Gents, it's nice alright, but I got a feeling the bloke that's chasing my bids, might just desire it more than me. I have another on my list that I want more, so I'm willing to sacrifice the Bluey if needs be.

How do you feel about bidding against other SRP folks and/or friends?

I feel it is an auction and highest bidder gets it, come friends or high water!
But, if a friend sends me a link to something I probably wouldn't have found myself I would stand down for him to get it.

Mick demonstrates that he is a true gentleman. As for me, I wouldn't tell my own mother I was bidding on a razor if I really wanted it ...... all is fair in love, war and ebay bidding .......

I haven't met a razor yet that is worth a friendship. Does that answer your question? As it is, I'm holding off now, to see if their are any last minute contenders that are going to weigh in. If I up the price too much now, I might shoot myself in the foot with those people that love to push the limits, to see how high you've bid, and then top it by a dollar...A bit like the game the other bloke is playing at the moment.
And like I said earlier, I have another that I'm more keen on (and that I'm not telling anyone about as I'm the only bidder ), so I won't feel hard done by to lose this one.
