So a man skirt then :-). Anyway I wasn't suggesting wearing a strappy top and heels with it, that would look ridiculous with your beard. I was more thinking pleated tartan.
I am sure that you could get a pattern and knock one together fairly easily, I doubt the highlanders could always afford tailors.

Mick is into leather....

Then he could make a leather kilt, and pop a flannel shirt on. Or he could make a flannel kilt.
Or both, leather for knifemaking, flannel for the summer.

I wouldn't go knocking a leather kilt. As our American friends like to say (though I can't bring myself to use incorrect spelling), They're BadArse! Which apparently means really, really good! :D

I am not knocking a leather kilt, I observed that it would be useful in the workshop, ie if you slipped while honing etc, save you from bobbitting yourself.
I had a bit of a bad arse today, a kilt would have been a positive boon for reducing toilet access time, and leather is wipe clean.

Anyway back to Carl, do we think he should get a kilt?

Yeah. I do actually. Stupid things. Why can't we all just have perfect eyes? I'm as blind as a bat, I can't even read that big letter A on the eye chart, I guess I'd be disabled if there was no such thing as glasses.
