Nope. I've seen the weird (or maybe I should say weirder) Far Q's wearing them up there in crocodile country. A lot of Mick Dundee wannabe's up that way as far as I can tell...Might be the humidity dampening the brains. I like the first one for it's obvious Indiana Jones look, it and number three were my more serious thoughts.

And on that note. I'm off to have nightmares about big heads and hats. You enjoy your 'days' work there...Big Ed

As an Aussie, that is naturally what carl should wear.
I probably should have bought one of those. I fly fished the Snowy river countless times when I lived down that way.

I'm pretty sure back a few pages I said I had a hat size of 55CM. Could you imagine me in an Akubra? I'd look like an idiot. At least one could wear their slouch hat smallish, esp as you wore it on a tilt, needing to have a space of three fingers between your ear at the base of the hat on the LH side.

OK, for all you NON Australians, how many folds in the puggaree of a slouch hat, what does that number represent and can you name them?

    No Googling...

If I remember correctly seven. But i'll have to pass on what the number represent and names.

If I should guess; it has something to do with military units in WW II ?

Well done Otto, seven. No, not military units, so you get 33.3%...Someone else can beat you with 66.6...

As I thought, you said 53cm, and that most hats look ridiculous on you.
No idea on the pop quiz, would guess it would be to do with the number of states/ teratories and or countries involved but then it would be more than 7 I think, bugger should know this.stuff, I will be doing citizenship soon.

OK, I'll give you the seven states and territories. Otto may be able to name them and so get the 66.6, or you could name them and get it, or we could see an outsider come in and see a three way split; which would of course generate the bonus question and morning duel...
