    Default Fantasy Football leagues

I was wondering if any of you have participated in any leagues. I realize some scoff at the idea but I've found it keeps me up with the teams and players. It's also satisfying to thrash some of the younger co-workers I have to deal with. It's come to a point the last few years that I can't afford not to play since they insist on having something at stake to play for. For all of our international members football in this case is the NFL.

I've played the last couple of years with various friends of mine. Never been in work team though, and never played for money.

You trying to start a SRP league?

No, not interested in starting a league, was just wondering if anyone had participated in any.

I've played for the past 6 or 7 years. Last year I was in two leagues but that got to be too much for me to keep up with. I've never finished on top but made it to the playoffs a couple of times. Last year I was dead last.

I'm thinking of joining a league this year. Never played before but it sounds like fun.

It's pretty fun but it can also be frustrating because there's a lot of luck involved. Players getting injured can change a team pretty quick so you have to be prepared for that. Developing your own strategy makes a big difference.

Draft your kicker and defense last, load your bench up with wide receivers and running backs. Quarterback 4th, 5th or 6th round. No need to draft a 2nd TE, QB, Defense or Kicker. You can always pick one up later after the season has started and you find out who you have on your bench you can drop.

    Good luck!!!

Hopefully if you finished last you'll get to have the first pick this year.

Thanks for the tips. That jives with what I've been finding out through my research. Looks like a qb pick will be 6th or 7th round.
