Are you using the brake rotors for weights?

I love the old west look too and wanted something a little different than an off the shelf hat. Cowboy hats are my signiture head gear. I think my sons are a little embarrassed by me when i wear a straw hat and shorts in the summer.(with socks and sandles to complete the outfit),but that's what Dads are for!

Really well made, has kept its shape for 7 years and a good weight to it so it doesn't launch too often. Best leather hat I have had, just a lick of dubbin every 6 or so months keeps it looking good and semi waterproof.
They make a roo hide one now I see, may have to upgrade. If it doesn't work out, could always cut it up into travel strops.
Size xl to fit my boof head.
I have that exact hat. I have only worn mine once since I bought it new in about 2002 ish, but yes, it's a GREAT hat. It's hanging on a Hall Tree in the entrance Foyer of my Florida home. I'll see if I can find a pic of it for you. If not, you'll have to wait until I get back to Florida after this lockdown mess clears up a bit.

Crikey, you can get them all the way over there?
The best hat I ever had was my grandfathers felt fedora, probably '50s vintage. Went missing when my boys were young..

I've been thinking of getting a hat. I normally wear baseball hats on weekends and for some reason I always wear one on long car drives. I've been thinking of getting something nicer--maybe a fedora of some sort. Since not a lot of men wear hats right now, are there some good choices I can wear casually that wouldn't be too off the wall?

Kangol has some fedora types that are quite nice.
