As I get older, I am very conscious of sun exposure and wear my wide brim Tilley for all outdoor work in the summer. They come with a lifetime free replacement guarantee that I have taken advantage of when replacing a hat I wore for 15 years.

Yup, I have a summer Tilley hat and a winter one. Both work well

Even if they offer it I would have a hard time asking for a replacement at their price after I had worn it for 15 years.

Not only did they replace the hat, they let me keep the old damaged hat. Worked great for another 5 years of sweaty garden work.

I've been thinking of getting a hat. I normally wear baseball hats on weekends and for some reason I always wear one on long car drives. I've been thinking of getting something nicer--maybe a fedora of some sort. Since not a lot of men wear hats right now, are there some good choices I can wear casually that wouldn't be too off the wall?

Kangol has some fedora types that are quite nice.

I wear a baseball type cap much of the time and prefer it while driving and not interfering with the headrest.

Here is where my Dobbs rests most of the time while driving.
