So, I've taken to growing my hair out rather than sporting the tell-tale high and tight fades that so many military members are accustomed to. Below is a picture of how I've been styling my hair for the last few weeks. I've been using Axe brand pomade, but every time I look at it, I feel like a cheap high school kid. I hate seeing it on my shelf, and it's about empty, so I was wondering. With all of the experimentation in men's grooming to be found here, surely someone's come across a few really good pomades. I'm looking for something with a moderate amount of hold, but that doesn't look like your hair has been soaked and gelled. Something that I can run a comb through throughout the day to keep it tamed. I don't want my hair feeling "crunchy" ever again.
