Thanked: 9Yeah, a split window. Back in '75 I bought a dark blue coupe like this only blue. It looks black when not in the light. It was really a peace of crap when I bought it. Well one year later I still owed on the blue one and came across this red one. My mom came by my house and came to the door and the first thing out of her mouth was you have to be crazy.... Well that car cost me $5,000 in '76. I have reminded her of that comment many times over the years.

The 55 Sedan Delivery is mostly a daily driver with 300/350
This was the first new car I ever bought. It has had a few different looks thru the years. This is this final look(maybe). A built 502 with a Dyers 8-71 Blower. On 93 octane it makes 817hp/792Tq. She also has a 450 hit of nitrous oxide

Thanked: 884That is gonna be a STUDebaker.
Buddy of mine had an old Studebaker P/U with a 389 Pontiac w/3 dueces and three speed behind it. It was a death trap! LOTS of go IF you could ever get the back tires to quit spinning. Seriously lacking in the WHOA department. He could go through all three gears and never get over 20 MPH if he wanted to. About that time one or the other of the junkyard "bald eagle" tires would let go.

Thanked: 118Thanks for once again making me regret selling my 72 Ford Torino. Windsor engine, Holley 4 barrel carb and hood scoop. Man that would have cleaned up nice.
Crap!!!

HA! That sounds hairy. This one sits on a 79 Chevy pickup frame, a "heavy Half". Big brakes and power steering, 12 bolt posi with a Cadillac 472 bored to 480. Forged rods, 10:1, comp cam, trick valvetrain, port job, balanced and machined to ridiculous numbers. It should be a reliable torque monster with a built turbo 400 and light stall. I hope to be pulling a vintage travel trailer with it before it is over! Definitely will have A/C.

I rest my case.
