As promised, my own horrible hand...And Ed, it's all right. I'm really a right handed writer and not a sinister hand at all. Ambi handed is only for other things. I haven't written with my left hand since I was a kid.

I can write a letter, a post card and I thought I was excellent at writing utter crap too, but this really tested me when it came to what to write.

Who writes "utter crap"?. Your left hand isn't too bad you know, much better than my right.

The script writers for 'Home and Away' for one...I think they might be the same people who did the scripts for 'Neighbours'!

    And thank-you.

I am told that cursive writing is no longer taught in US schools. If that is the case, these children will have a hard time reading historical documents in the future. Yet another method of obscuring the Constitution from the masses.

We have three teachers in my family and they agree with this theory. I am a trained calligrapher and I am appalled at the piss poor penmanship of many of my contemporaries. So many people have great difficulty writing a legible note for someone else to read.

Readin', writin' and 'rithmetic have gone by the wayside at the behest of our incompetent school boards. We have a saying about the method of teaching math class at the local city high school; "If Jose has 50 cents and he steals another 50 cents, how much does he have?" That is putting the question in a context more easily understood by the "children".

Cursive handwriting will soon be a lost art. This is a sad trend that continues to erode our culture. Some faction or another wants this to happen or it would not be happening. Perhaps we need more Czars. Ha!! Amen

And prior to that, prisoner, sons and daughters, the Sullivan's and a country practice. Which is where most of the actors came from.

We use a small dry erase board at work for when we do rounds and need to indidcat when we will be back and such. I used it tonight to practice random sentences in cursive ......excellent thread.
