Thread: Veterns Day In The USA 2013

It could have been any one of thousands that have served this country up there accepting the award. It could have been for doing even the simplest of tasks, unasked for and done in the spirit of 'this is what we do'. All that doesn't matter if at any time we forget what these that have served, and those that will serve, have done and will do to protect the opportunities we have to live a free, unfettered life, despite our political beliefs. We live in a dictator free country that allows dissension and controversy without punishment. To all the veterans I simply say, "Thank you." I have only one regret that due to a childhood illness I was rendered unfit for military service and because of that event I don't say thank you once a year, I say thank you on an almost daily basis.
