    Default smoke eater?

Is there a system you can recommend for allowing cigar smoking inside? Without residual smoke smell?

Ozone machines work well in automobiles. Not sure if your talking about inside a house or not. You need to be careful with ozone machines as they can damage interiors of cars if left to run too long.

The system I use is "my house, my rules" but I don't know of any technical solutions, perhaps some computer fans can at least be set up to pull most of the smoke outside, the 140mm fans are really silent.

I heated my garage and everyone is happy. Smoke in the house, unless vented by a small hurricane force fan, will stay in the house.

I got the small tabletop/wall/ceiling mout job new. They got cheap when bars outlawed smoking. I smoke a pipe/cigar outdoors only.

It works well in the basement (no windows), full blast, with my father-in-law living/smoking 24/7 down there. He hates the noise and I hate the stink - but we are both OK with it. A non-smoker would maybe be slightly offended by what little creeps past it.

Not what you want to hear but being a non smoker the best way is not to smoke in the house. IMO I can always tell when someone has smoked in a room. Carpets, drapes even paint absorbs the odor and it's very difficult to get rid of it.

You have to be careful with them. Ozone is a lung irritant and is very bad for you and in such small amounts to be safe would be useless for smoke.

    Thanks for all the input.
It is my house, and the wife smokes in the garage with the door open.
I would like to smoke a cigar in the house in winter, but I dont want to stink up the house.

There is no practical solution. This was demonstrated during studies testing the effectiveness of aircleaning devices in bars. Tobacco and other smoke contain tarry particles that stick to room surfaces and off gas chemicals. The best that one can do, other than not smoke, is to smoke outdoors or in a well ventilated area that does not impact the main house areas such as a garage.

I have observed that smoking is becoming an increasing common issue in multi-residential buildings where one residents right to enjoy a legal product at home comes into conflict with another resident's right to breath clean air at home.
