I thank you my friend. All I can say is that it was a small amount of money and time spent to make someone so happy who I'm very proud to have been able to call my friend for so many years. He did so much to help shape so many young men myself included.
Al had to leave to tend to his store (his wife was holding down the fort) but I stayed for about an hour and a half just having fun talking and Owen quipped "If I live long enough maybe I'll have a full uniform; I got to wear a dress coat once but it was the photographers". Hopefully next year we can make it happen! Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Thanked: 0I'm interested in putting together a entire dress blue uniform for this great American treasure. I spent a number of years in the Marine corps and I have friends across the country that would jump at the chance to help out. Please email me.

Thanked: 0What a thoughtful and truly sacrificing tribute to your fallen enemy. Turn the swords to plowshares. You are a true hero on both sides of the conflict.
