Thread: Lefty .22s

So I am looking for a new .22. I don't know why but I love my .22's more than any other caliber. I am wanting something that is good for target/competition. I don't plan on professionally competing but it would be nice to have something that could hold its own in local matches. I was thinking some thing like this Savage Arms as it won't break the bank.

Theres two problems though.

One I am a lefty and while the stock is ambidextrous the bolt is not. Its not that big of a deal as I have been shooting righty guns all my life but it would be nice to have a left handed gun for what will be my favorite gun at least for a while.

Secondly, I would like it to have peep sights. If I got the above gun I would have to pay a gun smith to make it where the barrel accept peep sights and then I would have to buy the sights probably pushing the price up another 200 dollars.

Something around the $600 price range would be excellent to have said features.
