Thanked: 1263E-Cigs/Vapes
Seeing as how my Hookah thread was a bust I'll try again with something a little different...lol. I'm a smoker and am sure I'll die with some sort of inhalation device in my mouth..latest is a vaporizer or "vape" as commonly referred to. So share your rigs...my first is a itaste vv with a Kanger Unitank chamber. I'm new to the whole vape thing but am enjoying so far and would love to hear others experiences/ideas

Over 6 months with out an analog stick
Kanger protank II with a swivel drip tip, paired with a Kanger VV,
I have started winding coils for it and am playing around a bit.
It is turning into another hobby
It is just Whisker Whacking
Relax and Enjoy!

I still enjoy a pipe every once and a while, but I can vape anywhere. I change up the flavor. My big leap would be to enjoy a no nic great flavor and smell juice anywhere. It is a fun hobby.
I am very appreciative of all the knowledge and sharing each and everyone has provided me with. Look forward to future endeavors with many of you.

Thanks for the thread. I was using an e cig for about a year but the particular brand I was using was always needing to be replaced due to malfunctions. I am hoping to hear and see what others are doing it would be a great thing to put the lighter away once again.
To quote Twain, " Quitting smoking is the easiest thing I have ever done, I have done it a thousand times.".
Vape on my brothers. It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

Did you guys find any health benefits from switching? Or drawbacks, as the case may be?
I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

Thanked: 1263I found I was getting a metallic taste from mine and narrowed it down pretty quickly to the tip. Same as on my Hookah hose, I don't care for metal tips...went out today and bought a plastic one, now it's a little more personalized and a much more enjoyable vape
And my wife decided she wanted one as well...she loves Hookah so she wanted something she could take with her and even enjoy at work. She wanted something girlie but with skulls as well...lol

No pics, but my current is a VV/VW with a 2250 mah battery that will last me at least a day and a half between recharging. Couple that with a rip-off version of an Octopus drip tip, and some DIY juice, I am in vape heaven.
As far as switching between tobacco and vaping, you have to want to. You still get the nicotine, but there are other chemicals in cigarettes that your body is used to. When you make the switch, your body wants those chemicals, but the urge for them is gone after the first week (YMMV). After that, it's all in your head.
I made the switch after 35 years of Marlboro Reds, so it can be done, if you want to change.

Thanked: 375I tried a brand can't remember the name it had a leaf on the battery. They gave me a sore throat, so I stopped using them. I did see a recent article about people being poisoned by these, anyone else hear this?
I know these have been around for some time I think in my short research they were developed in the 60's if I'm remembering correctly. Do you all think this a safer alternative to the real thing? just curious....
I consider myself a light smoker at a half pack a day...CHRIS
