Thanked: 13246ATV/UTV/Dirt Bikes
I am thinking of changing over from 2 ATV's to one UTV this week and would love to hear any opinions
Also let's post some riding Pics too
The wife and have had two Polaris Sportsman 550's since 2010 and honestly she is just not all that interested in riding hers much anymore so she pipes up at dinner Monday with "Hon I really think we should sell the two ATV's and you should get the UTV you have been thinking about, I can go with you when I want, and you can have fun still" Now what man in their right mind says no to that,,, I ask ya
Been looking at the Polaris 800 EPS Ranger
2014 Polaris RANGER 800 EPS Midsize Gold Mist LE : Features
and the Can-Am Commander DPS 800R
Commander DPS: Customized Side-by-Side with Dynamic Power Steering | Can-Am Off-Road US
I would love to hear opinions on either especially if you own one
Some pics from around the area
What are you riding ?????Last edited by gssixgun; 04-09-2014 at 07:49 PM.

I have some buddies that like the UTV. I've ridden/driven the polaris RZR's and the can-am Maverick. They are both pretty fun. They seen to talk well of the Can-am's
Honestly I don't really get it. I think it's mostly because I raced x country for years (before kids.lol) and just don't have the right mind set.
Anyway if you want enduro bike recommendation I'm here for you....lol

my buddy has this one .. he loves it .. I think when I was younger I went for speed in four wheelers .. now I think if it was me I would go for smthing where I could combo work/play .. plus something with the bed in the back would prob allow you to haul a bit more food/drink/tent for a long days ride or weekend excursion ..
I know not one of your options , and I didn't read the specs , but it did look similar in design to your first choice ..

Thanked: 13246Still waiting for my new one..
Went with the new Polaris 570 midsize LE instead of the 800, after talking with the owner over at our local dealership he explained that I just didn't need the 800, he graciously offered to take the extra money for one if I insisted hehehe
I liked the fact that the 570 moved the engine from directly under the seat to behind the seat, made the cab much quieter..
The unit is here in town, but we are waiting for the extras to get here and be installed, can't wait
