True UAcowboy, that is a lot of beer per adult/per household. Since there is no way authorities can police (keep an accounting) of how much beer I brew in a year, I guess the sky is the limit. I am getting ready to brew this Sunday, a five gallon batch of California Common aka Steam beer. It is a lager brew at ale temperatures. HOG

I haven't tried one of those yet but i have heard good things. The style was featured on an episode of Brew Dogs last season. they got into the history of it and how it got its name. I pretty awesome show over all.

Current set up
Here is the current set up. A refrigerator in the garage, freezer portion is the wife; but the bottom is mine. The beer tap is inside the fridge so everything is cold and doesn't have to go through warm hoses or taps and foam up the beer. The tank is a Cornelius keg, 5 gallon capacity. I plan to get rid of some stuff in the garage and build me a keezer that way I can brew a 10 gallon batch of beer at a time.

Thanked: 5Homebrewing legalities
I am not sure about homebrewing in some of the "DRY" counties scattered throughout the United States, but I do know for a fact that to make any kind of alcohol, including home brewed beer or wine in a "Local Option" community in Alaska is a Felony. It doesn't matter if the "Option is "Dry", "Damp" or "wet", it is still a felony.
