Shoe Brushes
Hello Gents,
I have a question for you, and wanted to know your experiences.
I have been using for many years my Great-Grandad's old shoe brushes. They are nothing fancy, but have great density, and the hair in them seems to have stood up to years and years of use without splaying or splitting.
Now, my dad has recently moved abroad, and taken the brushes with him. I have been using the Kiwi brushes, that seem to scrub the shoes, and seem to fall apart after about 2 months.
My question is, does anyone know of good quality shoe brushes they have used themselves and are ready to recommend on a tried and tested basis? I have looked online, and have found a plethora of options but, much like a newbie looking for a straight razor, don't know up from down.

Several years ago I bought a kit from Bostonian. It comes in a great wood box with a shelf to put your shoe on while cleaning and has several cloths and polishes and a big beautiful horse hair shoe brush made in Brazil.

Thanked: 102shoe brush
I recently updated my shoe brushes that i had been using for 30 years. Went to local shoe repair shop which stocked professional shoe shine products. Have had excellent results.

Thanks guys. Just out of interest, I've found all manner of things investigating brushes, these are a bit more expensive than any other brush I've seen, but I like the idea of them:
