Ditto the advice to contact Kevin aka Hidestoart. I too own one of his awesome strops, and have seen much of his other work. He is a master with leather of any kind.

I've got to replace my wallet too, but I pretty much know what I want - a bit minimalist in shell cordovan.
A couple of months ago when I looked I narrowed it down to two, and then got busy with something else and now I don't remember anymore who made them. I think one was in canada and was more expensive, but I thought I liked that design better.
