Default Chain of freedom and hope.

Of course this corner of the world are far from everything but i'm taking an advantage to salute all members currently living in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. It's been 25 years (23.8.1989) since Baltic Chain, a miracle that was celebrated widely here too.

Now, about 100 years since the first shots of WW1 and 25 years since that great day in Baltic States it looks just like the same chain goes today in the places like Luhansk and Donetsk. Ukraine is fighting for the right to choose its own destiny. Many here feel that the cause of Ukraine is our cause too. They are fighting for us as well. I totally agree and wish them all the strenght.

The only popular way here to celebrate our independence is to light 2 candles on a window: one blue, one white. During last months i've noticed the growing number of windows with the yellow and blue candles burning. I'm sorry to hear what happened to Lithuanian consul in Luhansk and of course everyone who has lost their homes and lives.

Salutations Sailor. It's truly a microcosm of the largest issue facing our civilization on this planet. Regardless of the cause and where people stand with respect to that cause, it's tragic that at this juncture in our history with all the communication resources at our disposal, we still can't ferment a more co-operative global existence. Such is the tribal nature of man.

Keep your concentration high and your angles low!

Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.
