MacBook Air
Well I have typed on my tablet and phone for about as long as I can stand.
Needed a keyboard. Moreover, I needed a bit more computing power and storage than my oldtablit could afford...
I could have have got a better talbot with a keyboard attachment - and stored everything on a cloud. But then I would either have to learn Windows 8.1, or... Well whatever lol!!
i got a MacBook Air 11". Woot! Ps - I am not going to edit this post - as it shows you how useless I am on a phone - even after months of using it lol.Last edited by earcutter; 09-01-2014 at 01:56 AM.

hope so. Enjoy seeing your posts.
As handy as smart phone and tablets are, unless you have a similar OS on the laptop or unless your a pretty savy fella(sure you are), I hope you matched your choice well. You made a fine choice.
Hey. There's only one mouse button. K.I.S.S.

Thanks man - yeah, I could sync my phone to my Mac, but I actually set up a new ICloud account so that I wouldn't have to . I want my laptop to be old school - if I want to read a work email I will - if not, I don't want to be reminded that clients are trying to get a hold of me lol! Sanctuary!!
Dude that's priceless!! Believe it or not - I edited my post to say I wasn't going to edit it lol!!
Too funny!
I got to tell you guys. So far i am really liking Macs operating system. After years of being a Windows guy, it'll take a bit, but I am looking forward to it.
My wife is laughing her head off - she has been a Mac Whore for years.David

Thanked: 14The MacBook Air and Pro are great computers but I no longer need laptops. I've become committed to my Apple iPad and straight shaving. I'll never go back to either Windows PC's or cartridge shaving. My iPad is so portable and easy to use that I take it everywhere. I agree that separate keyboards are easier to use but I no longer write long reports so the onboard keyboard is handy and meets my needs. I'm planning to upgrade to iPad Air and hoping that iPad Pro will be offered next year.
Enjoy your MacBook Air, it's a great portable. Computers are like razors, YMMV :-)

Oh man I made the mistake of looking at that iPad Air after buying the Air... What a beautiful thing that is!! Both my kids have iPads - I went with an Android - what a mistake lol.
This Air that I got, at 11" is incredibly portable - I gave up a nice screen for that portability. I understand they may be coming out with the better screens in a couple of months - I just couldn't wait lol.David
