    Nice. Figure in the walnut is nice. I have shot a couple vintage Brown Bess which throw a 70+ caliber ball. A full battle load thumps pretty good. I have a match next week at the club with the Brandywine Long Rifles but I go more modern for that. Have a old Thompson 45 cal that I fitted with a tang peep and glob front just for matches. Wicked accurate out to 100 with round ball. A 60 with soft roundball will make a big hole in a deer.

    Yep a handmade gun...many hours of labor and it shows...he showed me pics of the Curley Maple blank before he started....I would love to make a gun like this..but life is too short.

    Yep..it has "Safe Queen" written all over it....it's going in the woods...but..I hope I don't slip on a rock in the dark,going to my stand, that would suck and could easily happen.
