Ode to Vinyl
For most of us I'm assuming, we grew up with LP and 45's as the norm, now, vinyl is to the new generation as straight razors are to us I guess.
Enjoy.

You're dating yourself Phrank...
But, I'm right there with you. I have a collection of well over 200 LP's from the 60's early 70's. The best music ever! Back in the day I had a top of the line turntable with a 12 pound, completely balanced platter. Heck, I even paid $150 just for the Stylus, and that was in 1970. Most of these albums were only played one time , to record on my state of the art Sansui reel to reel. I would play those tapes for hours on end, booming through my big Pioneer and Sansui surround sound speaker system.
Still have that complete sound system, and it is still in use today, powered by (state of the art of course) MacIntosh amps!Last edited by Wolfpack34; 09-08-2014 at 06:47 PM.

Thanked: 44I have containers of vinyl. Was just listening to the Beatles white album earlier. I have a ION turntable that puts albums in a digital format. Not perfect, but better than nothing.
I do not want to think about the equipment I got rid of.
I found this funny. Like it is modern technology.
