Sadly my old mate Dean, died two mornings ago at home at about 3;30 am, he got his wish the only way he ever wanted off Mundoo was in a wooden box. They will scatter his ashes over his little rifle range outside their little cottage. on the island. I have known him since I was 14 yrs old when both he and another mate took me under their wing when I joined the Adelaide Black Powder Muzzle loading club in 1974. Over the years he gave me a lot of gear and valuable advise to help set me up, then finally 3 rifles, the one in this thread, and a Parker Hale two bander, and a .451. as he was at the age of 84 unable to stand the recoil. A kinder, dryer bloke that you would ever meet, one of natures gentlemen. The duck openings, the cattle musters, the weekends shooting on his little range with our muzzle loaders, the fishing, his wifes" lovely cooking. Shining times Rest In Peace mate.
Keep yo hoss well shod an yo powdah dry !
