Phrank, Thank you for the memories!!
When I lived in San Clemente CA. some years back I got to know a wonderful little blue humming bird...to cut to the chase, I nick-named him Blue Thunder after the movie.
Every AM I would swing open my window and look over the house tops to the Pacific Ocean and he would come up like the helicopter in the movie and hover about six inches from my face and shaving hand.
I can say that that sharp beak was a concern!! But he made every day special and even brought his mate along to watch some mornings. He also played with my Siamese cat, by chasing each other for fun, in a big Jade tree outside the apartment.
They are curious as heck and...they are afraid of nothing!
Thanks again!

Sweet video....as a younger man living on the North Shore of Oahu, seeing the young Brazilian women boogie boarders made me want to move to Brazil......now a fun loving hummingbird makes me think of it......all the Brazilian people I met in Hawaii, mostly through Gracie Jiu-Jitsu were very cool.

The Gracie's...yes I took a three day seminar back in my Shotokan days with Rory (? I believe ?) and his students...was fun, and as usual, being the biggest guy there, learned lots by having the crap beat out of me by him. Think it was 91/92 they were in Toronto.
