Default For All Marines (Past and Present)

I saw a unique sticker on the back window of a pick up truck on Friday. At first it looked like a standard "University of..." sticker but upon closer inspection I had to grin when I noticed the sticker read, "University of Parris Island" in bold white letters. Semper Fi Ladies!

Can't rightfully claim the title. I'm a retired Air Force E-7. My older brother was a Marine and I have been to Parris Island, just never on business.

Parris island is an open base, pretty much, it is a great place to spend an afternoon, with the sites, museum, etc.

I'd like to see more visitors take the time to go there, while in route to their primary destination.

Never made Parris Island, did my boot camp at MCRD, San Diego...1965. University fits though. It was definitely an education!!
