Thanked: 1936I call B.S. Steering something that is rotating super fast, for stabilization in flight, doesn't seem possible due to the extreme g-force involved with the rotation alone.
The sighting system is possible, but I checked on them and they cost as much as a barret semi-auto 50 cal...I checked.Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.

Call BS if you want. The 155 rounds are not shot from a smooth bore. There is no centrifugal force from the rotation if the circuitry is aligned with the axis of rotation. Besides that is miniscule compared to the G of firing the damn thing. They have already mastered having a computer that can survive 50K G acceleration, boot up between the primer being struck and exiting the muzzle and having a GPS fix. The only challenge I see here is the miniaturization. Beyond that, who is worth the $500,000 bullet on a battlefield?
The easy road is rarely rewarding.

Thanked: 1936I know of the current rounds for the tanks and howitzers, but to miniaturize it to rifle size...I still don't see it. In the early 90's I could put a tomahawk through your bedroom window at 150 miles away & I could be under water doing it. I'm sure technology has grown 10 fold since then. Hell, who am I kidding...those private R&D departments may have about anything sci-fi we would ponder by now.
