Default Enjoying Christmas and the lovely weather.

We have such a lovely day up here today, so I wanted to share a couple pics taken from my living room just now.
One is of the backyard, the other is taken from the deck up front.

When we woke up the temp was -18C, or about 0F.
My youngest immediately wanted the whole family to go outside and do some ice-skating on the local lake.
    So we did

I love winter-days like this, the air is so crisp and clear and the snow lowers all ambient sounds.
    Peaceful.

A continued merry christmas to all from up north

Glad you are enjoying your weather. A great view of Oslo.

We had great weather along Lake Michigan yesterday. 50 f (10c) was just 1 degree below a record high.

So, the decorations came down. Better to do this at 50 than at 15f, covered in snow and ice.

Yes - beautiful weather....a year ago we had not yet got back to our home after 6 Days, power was still out, tree's collapsed everywhere, roads impassable, several big trees in my backyard were lying across various part of my house, and it was utterly freezing. There were clouds of mist in the house, my son's aquarium was dead with frozen fish floating around, and it was miserable.

And a year later, thinking I would look back at it as an, "adventure", well, not happening yet, still was a PITA, LOL, maybe next year...but right now, it's just above zero, and it's clear and beautiful....great day!

How beautiful is that! My grandfather immigrated from Norway at 14 years-old, and I've always wanted to visit. Now I want to even more. Thanks for sharing.

That is an adventure I can surely do without.

    Good choice!

Appears to have radiant heat. IIRC, Oslo gets colder than Miami.
