    Default Portable Power Packs

    Hello,

I'm thinking about buying a portable power pack. I could use it for a variety of things, but really want to know if it will be able to properly power a TV
that we use when tailgating at football games. We currently plug it into my cigarette lighter which has drained the battery a couple of times. Anyway, I've
seen a couple at Northern Tool (NPower) and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with a power pack and any recommendations. Thanks.

    John

I have experience with only one type of battery pack,,, it is the Solar automobile booster. I have used this model for 10 + years. I have to buy a new one about every 3 1/2 years,,,, They are powerful & the one at work jumped 14 plus cars in a roll & I had one crank a large John Deere that had been sitting for 3 years.

I don't know how long it will power a TV, but the good thing is it will recharge overnight in the wall 7 plug it into the cigarette lighter as you drive around.

Begging your pardon, but I need to know from someone with experience: is a portable power pack a "finer thing in life"? If so, I've been missing something.
    Best to all,

If you ever had need of one it would be damn fine to have one.

Stuck on the side of the road with a dead battery & or cellphone ,,, a Solar Booster Pac in the trunk, beats the hell out of a blonde in the passenger seat.

But not as good as a blonde WITH a booster pac. (And, no, that's not a euphemism.)
