Ruger Vaquero Beauty
Just got a hold of this little charmer. It's the Ruger Vaqero Deluxe edition. The engraving is laser, not hand, but it still looks decent. Seemed cheaper than getting the plain model and having it engraved.

Yup it's basically a remake of the Colt Single Action Army, with a few differences. I think the Cowboy Action shooting thing creates a demand for a lot of these. This one is chambered in 45 Colt (aka 45 Long Colt). I just like the mechanics of it, general good looks and kind of a piece of history. Just picked it up so I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

Thanks. This particular deluxe model was only chambered in 45 Colt, but yes several Ruger revolvers, including the Vaqero come in "convertibles" where you'll get two cylinders, one of them in 45 acp. Originally Posted by RJD
