    Default Rust!!

My wife and I recently lost our lab, Nestle, and to help fill the huge hole she left in our hearts, we adopted a rescue puppy.

Due to his coloring, we named him Rust.
I now find myself in the strange situation of saying:
Here, Rust! Rust, stay! Good Rust!!

We hope to have Rust with us for a long time, but when it comes to my razors, it's No, Rust!

Nice dog! A jackal-coloured everything breed selected by natural pressures. She is one of that kind who eats trash and don't throw up, who survives most known illnesses, with fast and well honed brain! I bet she will be a nice pet!

Luck Rust, she got a new home. Lucky you and your wife, you got a lap full of love and sloppy kisses for close to eternity.

Nice lookin' pooch. Seems to appear fairly healthy in the pictures. Hopefully he wasn't abused.

    Thank you, everyone.
I don't think he was abused, just unwanted. He was abandoned and left out in a thunderstorm. Other than being full of ticks and fleas, which the rescue place took care of, he does seem healthy and his first vet visit didn't show any remarkable problems, just normal puppy worms.

I feel your pain on loosing a companion, Nestle. Rust is sooo cute! Yall will have many years of rewarding companionship. Rust is one lucky pup. And knows it too. I hope Rust sleeps through the night..... I don't miss those nights when our Great Dane puppy would cry some nights..... She is now 1 1/2 yrs old.
Is it over there or over yonder?

That's good to hear. Funny how people will just abandon something like that.

Great stuff to see a rescue on a new path,
Watch out Rust will rub off on you & soak through to your soul, and eat your things if left uncheck LOL
