Thanked: 44I had a 18" for a while. The nice part is the WSM is easy to work with. I could get 10 or so hours off one load of coal. I am not a fan of all the fancy vent kits. You can build a system for less cash.Pair it with a remote temp unit and you can sleep until the alarm lets you know if the temps drop. you might have the adapter for mounting the fan, if you do not access to make one.Maverick makes a remote gauge that works well. It will give you cooking temps and meat temps.
