Thanked: 2027You can get a fully serviced, gauranteed atmos for around $700,thats cheap compared to a large Howard or Chelsea ships clock IMO

Auh yes the Atmos! Now that is a clock I've read about and for a brief period intended on buying, but at some point decided that when I have my old English style library/ cigar lounge/ManCave that that would be the precise moment I would buy one! Seriously. That is my intent. Hehehe dreams and aspirations... think Bond. Lol
DISCLAIMER::: I am not an English culture aficionado, nor even a Bond expert though I've seen most, and i can't recall this moment where those clocks made... it just seems to go on that leather-top desk my mind...

If you buy a used one the critical part are the bellows. That's what fails and that's what is very expensive to fix and during a normal overhaul it is not replaced.
