Thanked: 1Well with all of us shavers wanting good quality I'm surprised that alot ppl are just using the big store brands I went with the smaller local brands that have no parabens synthetic color or smell etc
I highly recommend to anyone that is using a big brand to try a more natural one they do cost up to 12 bucks but my pit stick always lasts a while

Thanked: 56I use Mitchum unscented roll on. I dislike scented deodorants and many stick types give me a rash. Nothing like trying to decide whether to risk being stinky or further irritating a painful rash.

I'm one of those guys that simply cannot stand that wet & sticky feeling pits (or anywhere there is significant skin-to-skin contact). So the most important word in this product category for me is: antiperspirant.
For a very long time, I used "Speed Stick 24/7". It lasted for pretty much 24hrs before I would sweat much. Then they all but discontinued it.
In the time between then, and when they released a comparable replacement, I tried a few different ones. The Mitchum 48hr boasted 2 day protection. It didn't last two hours... and that was even if I was sitting on my butt watching tv. I also tried a different Speed Stick that mentioned lasting protection. That barely lasted longer than the Mitchum.
Now I use "Speed Stick Gear", whichever scent is least offensive & not super strong, & also antiperspirant.
I run the oven in a bread factory, so these things receive strong consideration. On work days, I also use that Gold Bond powder spray on most of any part of me below the belly button. But that is because it reduces the sweat pimples that can crop up in less than a shift. And they hurt.Last edited by Crawler; 08-17-2015 at 04:10 AM.

When I saw the title of the thread, I assumed you were referring to some new BBQ tool out there. Maybe I'm the weird one?
I use one of those deodorant stones and just bathe frequently and have a climate controlled day job. I also live in a cooler clime and when I do work outside and perspire heavily, I don't really care if I smell.

Usually Old Spice deodorant. I like to sweat and don't care for some antiperspirants' residue. Anything cheap is good...

Thanked: 4827I do not like to smell, nor do I like all of the aluminum and other stuff in commercial deodorant. Zinc ointment is what I use, just a wee dab once a week and all is good. No odor and as far as cost goes for those more penny minded, mind bogglingly inexpensive. I think it runs about $7 a year. It is most frequently found under the label of Zincofax diaper rash cream.
