Headphones
I just purchased my first really good set of headphones. I have been using crappy over ear headphones (think 80's Walkman) or earpods that came with my phone. For the last 3.5 years I have flown up and down to work struggling to hear my movie over all of the ambient noise. The last flight was a revelation. Sound quality was very good and they are really comfortable.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Thanked: 485Yeah nice headphones are cool. I Like TDK. Mainly because I liked that girl that was in that ad those years ago. Also I like gold plated plugs. Just because. But you can't sleep with big headphones on. In fact, you can't sleep with any headphones on or in. It doesn't matter what they tell you and it doesn't matter what they show you in the aeroplane advertisements; you CAN NOT sleep with headphones on, in, or about. It's difficult even to sleep with them in the same room as they, but I struggle on...
Headphones are nice. Esp on aeroplanes. They allow you to simply hold out your cup, nod, and smile... It doesn't matter what that hostess lady says: hold out your cup. Nod. Smile. Without headphones you'd easily pass as a fool. WITH them you're suitably aloof, separated, 'drawn apart from'...
Hope this helps.
CarlStranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
